Abused woman rescued after passing note to vet
A woman escaped from an allegedly abusive and armed boyfriend by passing a note to staff at a veterinary hospital, US police say.
Carolyn Reichle, 28, claimed she spent two days being held in a house and beaten by Jeremy Floyd, 39.
After persuading him there was something wrong with her dog, Miss Reichle wrote: “My boyfriend is threatening me. He has a gun. Please don’t let him know.” Officers were then called and Floyd was arrested.
