Bare-faced cheek of trio of ‘Botox bandits’ who failed to pay for treatment

A TRIO of “Botox bandits” are being hunted by police after allegedly running away from a salon without paying for facial fillers.

The suspects asked beauty therapists to administer treatments including Botox, dermal lip fillers and cheek fillers, racking up a £2,230 bill, which remains outstanding.

However, in a move the “fraudsters” may later come to regret, the man and two women may have unwittingly aided their capture by having their photos taken at Persona Cosmetic Medicine Clinic in Bexley, Kent, for “before and after” pictures.

Police have now issued images of the suspects’ pre-botox faces and said they want to talk to two women, and a man with a neat beard, puffy cheeks and trimmed eyebrows.

Since the police appeal, a number of other businesses have come forward to make claims about the man, who is said to have run away without paying for treatments such as Botox from other clinics in the South East.

One health worker from Dover told Mail Online: “I’ve reported this man as I know who he is as he did the same to our clinic.”

A restaurant worker in Eltham also told the website that the man had eaten in the pub where she worked in April, claiming that he had “kicked off ” to get a free meal. She said “there’s no way you would ever forget that face”.

A post on the Bexley Police Facebook page said: “Police would like to identify and speak to these three suspects involved in fraud (making off without payment) from a cosmetic company in Bexley in February 2018. The three suspects received treatments worth over £2,000 and then ran out of the premises without paying for the work. The pictures shown were taken prior to receiving the treatment.”

People on Facebook have been taken aback by the images.

Christine Whiterod said: “Let’s hope they get them. If that’s before, I dread to think after. Not being funny and not that I have ever had or would want any work done, don’t you have to pay a deposit of some sort?”

Cassie Read said: “How can the third one go around incognito. Would spot him a mile off.”

Cat Raheem said: “Why on earth would they allow pictures to be taken before the treatment if they are planning to do this?”

According to the NHS Choices website, Botox can make lines and wrinkles, such as frown lines, less obvious and can temporarily alter a person’s appearance without the need for surgery.
