Too busy to play
SIR – It isn’t just impoverished parents who need reminding to play with their children (report, May 16).
Many low-earning parents are excellent at raising young families, while high-earning parents who claim to be time-poor are just as likely to need a text to get them to engage with their own lonely offspring.
We are raising a generation of dysfunctionals, and socio-economics these days shows no bias. Suzannah Edwards-jones
