Guards warned Liege killer was radicalised
Prison authorities were warned that the suspected terrorist who went on a bloody rampage in the Belgian city of Liège while on a temporary release from prison had been radicalised.
Belgian media reported that guards told prison bosses on Saturday that Benjamin Herman, 31, was spending time with a suspected Isil recruiter and friend of one of the 2016 Brussels bombers. Herman was released on Monday and struck in the Belgian city on Tuesday, killing two female police officers and a bystander.
