Taking wing

SIR – A bluebottle has been buzzing around at eyebrow level for the hour I’ve spent reading my Telegraph – but then disappears the minute I go into the kitchen to fetch the fly killer.

It then magically reappears about a minute after the tin has been returned to the cupboard. How? Liz Graham
