Motorway-ready

SIR – Motorway tuition for learner drivers (report, June 4) is welcome, but it should be compulsory.

It is becoming dangerously common for those joining the flow of traffic from a slip road to barge their way out without giving way to traffic already there. No wonder some people think the middle lane is a safer place to be.
