Trump’s true stripes

SIR – Traditionally, men’s ties in the US have stripes which slope from lower left to upper right.

European fashion has them the other way. What should we make of Donald Trump attacking Europe with his crazy steel tariffs while embracing Europe with his choice of tie design?
