The Inter County pairs championship of England for the Reg Corwen trophy has taken place at the Mercure Daventry Court Hotel, writes Julian Pottage, Bridge Correspondent. Winners are as follows:

1st Alan Mould and John Holland (Manchester), 60.98%; 2nd Steve Root and Shahzaad Natt (Middlesex), 58.95%; 3rd Giles Ip and Gabriel Ip (Norfolk), 58.80%; 4th Chris Duckworth and Brian Callaghan (London), 58.65%; and 5th Daniel Baines and Robert Miller (Northamptonshire), 56.95%.
