Heathrow flight risk

SIR – Year after year, for decades, passenger planes over Heathrow have grown larger and heavier. They carry more people and more fuel.

Meanwhile, the population under the approach routes into Heathrow just gets bigger. It is utter recklessness to fly ever increasing numbers of people over our capital city.
