Quackdown on slugs

SIR – All you need to deal with an invasion of slugs (leading article, June 6) are a few ducks.

My flock of pretty little call ducks controls the slugs with greedy efficiency, as well as providing beguiling entertainment – and eggs. Nematodes provide biological back-up.
