Diversity debate ‘No evidence of discrimination’

Efforts to improve diversity at Oxbridge risk being “undermined” in the wake of criticism by Sam Gyimah, the universities minister, a prominent peer has claimed. Baroness Deech, the former chairman of admissions at Oxford, claimed there was “no evidence of discrimination” against black students, and that attacks showed how “misguided” the debate had become.
