Bataclan victims to sue over soldiers’ inaction
Survivors and families of victims of the 2015 attack on Paris’ Bataclan concert hall have filed a legal complaint to find out why soldiers stationed nearby were ordered not to intervene when Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant gunmen stormed the venue.
The group’s lawyers said there were eight soldiers who were close by and ordered not to use their weapons or give first aid to victims, and they want to find out who within the government was responsible for this order.
The attacks at the Bataclan and other venues killed 130 people.
