Losing the battle

An orang-utan interrupts a digger destroying its habitat in the Ketapang District, West Borneo. In the video from International Animal Rescue – originally shot in 2013 but only released now – loggers smash the base of the tree, causing the ape to fall off as it tries to fend off the machine.
