Man arrested over death of female debt collector

A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a motherof-two found dead at a house in Basildon, Essex.

Tina Cantello, 49, who had been working as a payday loan collector, was reported missing on Friday afternoon after she failed to return home from her rounds.

Her body was discovered at a property two miles away from where she lived just before 6pm on Saturday and a man, thought to be living at the address, was being questioned on suspicion of murder.

Emma Lee, 34, a friend, said: “We’re sad she’s gone. She was a bubbly, lovely and caring lady.”
