Ian Lavender [Private Pike], one of two surviving members of the cast of Dad’s Army, helps launch a series of Royal Mail stamps marking the 50th anniversary of the iconic BBC TV comedy show. Eight designs, featuring the show’s main characters and their catchphrases, will go on sale on June 26.
