FA officials snub Putin in Moscow

Vladimir Putin was snubbed by the chairman and the chief executive of the FA yesterday, on the eve of the World Cup in Russia.

After his speech at Fifa’s annual congress in Moscow, the Russian president received a standing ovation from many of the 400-plus delegates, but the FA’S Greg Clarke and Martin Glenn remained seated.
