Uber driver threw out kissing lesbian couple

A New York Uber driver has had his licence suspended after ejecting a lesbian couple from his car for kissing.

The women used the app to book an Uber cab on Saturday, travelling from Brooklyn to Manhattan’s East Village.

After the couple shared a brief kiss, Ahmad El Boutari, the driver, pulled the cab over and told them to stop, according to one of the women, who filmed the incident on her mobile phone. Uber said it would not tolerate discrimination.
