Daughter’s relief as CPS drops Dignitas case

A woman who took her father to Dignitas has spoken of her relief as the CPS ended her seven-month wait to see if she would face criminal charges.

Ex-nurse Sandra Holmes, 66, took John Lenton to the assisted suicide clinic in Switzerland. The CPS decided not to proceed with the case against her and son Scott, 40. “The whole family is greatly relieved,” she said.
