Music is pitch perfect for training sessions

England’s World Cup squad have asked to be able to train to music after a large speaker was placed at one end of the pitch near their base in Repino, Russia.

According to the FA, a Fifa official had played music through the system for an open training session earlier in the week and the players liked it so much they requested it for further sessions.

The FA declined to say what songs were played.
