Police search for serial ‘school run’ watch thief

A HUNT has begun for a violent mugger who targets mothers on school runs for their expensive watches.

The most recent victim, a woman in her early 40s, was attacked when she was pushing her two-year-old daughter in a buggy in Chislehurst, south-east London, on Tuesday afternoon. Police believe the man has struck at least three times in the area, ripping watches from the wrists of women walking their children.

A Met Police spokesman confirmed that a woman was robbed and that a picture of the suspect had been issued. “He is wanted in connection with three highvalue robberies in the Bromley area,” he added.
