Lover faked musician’s scholarship rejection
A Canadian clarinet player has won C$375,000 (£214,000) in damages after his ex-girlfriend faked a rejection letter to prevent him moving away.
When Eric Abramovitz won an all-expenses-paid scholarship in Los Angeles, Jennifer Lee intercepted the email and deleted it. She then forged a rejection email from a fake account.
Miss Lee’s action was “despicable”, said the Ontario Superior Court judge.
