Colombia picks Duque

Ivan Duque, a 41-year-old conservative, was elected to become the youngest president in Colombia in more than a century last night after promising to roll back a fragile peace accord. Mr Duque won 54 per cent of the votes, putting him more than 12 points ahead of Gustavo Petro, a former guerrilla.
