Heavy punishment

-

SIR – Many years ago, the Logan Rock, a rocking stone near the Cornish village of Treen, was knocked off its position by similar halfwits to the ones in Yorkshire (report, June 14).

When the culprits were caught, their punishment was to replace the stone in its original position. They apparently succeeded, as it is there to be admired today.
