Missing 10p coins

SIR – It is two months since a range of 10p coins was introduced with 26 different designs representing each letter of the alphabet.

What fun to collect, I thought, and duly sent off for the well-advertised folder to keep them in.

Since then I have checked my change every day: I even have my village shop looking out for them. My grand total in those two months is none, apart from the coin sent with the collectors’ pack.

Where are they all – and do I have any hope of collecting the whole set before I leave this world? Geoffrey Aldridge
