Police drone finds man stuck in marsh

A 75-year-old man who got lost while out walking with friends was found by a drone 20 hours after he was reported missing.

Peter Pugh, a publishing company owner, had been walking on Brancaster Beach, Norfolk, at around 5pm on Saturday when he was separated from his group while taking a shortcut home. The father of three fell into marshes and became stuck overnight. He was rescued on Sunday afternoon after being found by a Norfolk Police drone. Sgt Alex Bucher said: “Without the drone we would not have located him so quickly.”
