The RHS Garden in Wisley is basking in a bumper year for its roses as Britain enjoys an extended spell of sunny weather, with temperatures expected to be as hot as Spain over the coming days. The heatwave will peak on Wednesday, which forecasters say could be the hottest day of the year, with the thermometer reaching as high as 86F (30C).
