Prince William was forced to miss yesterday’s England match on his way to an official visit to the Middle East. But the avid football fan and president of the FA wasn’t daunted. He had asked his host, Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II of Jordan, to record the clash with Panama for him and the pair planned watched it after their dinner last night. The Duke joked: “On pain of death, don’t tell me the score.”
