Murder inquiry after man dies in burglary

A murder investigation has been launched after one man died and two others were seriously injured following reports of an aggravated burglary, police said.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary was called to a block of flats in Bristol city centre at 1.06am yesterday.

Officers found three people, all from London, had been assaulted. One man died at the scene while two others were taken to hospital. Police detained two men from London, aged 25 and 37, at the scene on suspicion of murder.
