Men over 40 value mind over looks, study finds

Women should pick a man over 40 as that is when he starts valuing her for her intelligence, according to a study of online dating users in Australia.

Up until age 40, women are more choosy when it comes to how intelligent their potential partners are, seeking someone of at least the same level as themselves during their peak fertility years. But men only start putting a potential date’s intelligence before looks once they reach 40, claimed a Queensland University study of 41,936 members of dating sites such as Tinder. The study was reported in Psychological Science.
