Surprise win

Alexandria Ocasio-cortez celebrates after winning her New York primary. Ms Ocasio-cortez, 28, defeated Joe Crowley, a 10-term Democrat congressman who hoped to be a future House speaker. She is set to become the youngest woman ever elected to Congress if she succeeds in November’s elections, after beating Mr Crowley 58 per cent to 42 per cent.
