Into the fold

The Archbishop of York, the Most Rev Dr John Sentamu, leads the Laying on of Hands during the consecration of the Suffragan Bishop of Lancaster, the Rt Rev Dr Jill Duff (in black robes) yesterday at York Minister. The 45-year-old is the 13th female bishop in the Church and the first in her diocese.
