The ringleader – Maja Nilsson Lindelöf, wife of Victor Lindelöf

Calling herself a “Swedish influencer living in Manchester” on her Instagram, Maja, 24, has more than 115,000 followers, as well as a podcast (with fellow SWAG Sanna Dahlstrom) called Life in the Stands and a Youtube channel. And that’s a full sentence that would have made no sense 30 years ago. She has lived in Cheshire since last summer, thanks to Lindelöf playing for Manchester United.

The childhood sweetheart – Emma Hebring, wife of Ola Toivonen

The blonde (to be honest, they’re all blonde) 31-year-old Emma met Toulouse forward Ola Toivonen, 33, more than 15 years ago, making their low-profile relationship practically ancient by traditional WAG standards. But not compared their opposition today. England’s goalkeeping hero, Jordan Pickford, has dated his girlfriend Megan since they were 14, and Kane met Goodland at school.

The glamour – Josefine Ringblom Berg, wife of Marcus Berg

A “happy wifey”, according to Instagram, Josefine is a mother-of-three who has been married to striker Marcus for four years. She studied fashion, and proves that by posting photographs of herself and her children in designer goods on Instagram. “For me, home isn’t a place but a person. And that person is you! I love you with every breath I take and I will do so until end of time,” she wrote to her husband. Get a room.
