Operators slash holiday prices

British travellers could save hundreds of pounds on a last-minute summer holiday as tour operators struggle to lure people away from the World Cup.

A combination of England’s success and an extended heatwave has meant a lack of interest in getting away and travel companies cutting prices.

Seven-day package deals are now being sold for as little as £191 per person.
