Fans in Russia get extra time off

Bosses are giving staff special leave to stay in Russia as England extends its dramatic World Cup run.

Thousands of fans had been due to go home at the weekend after using up their annual leave following England in Russia.

But The Confederation of British Industry has urged employers to “show leniency” in respect of England’s best showing at a World Cup in 28 years.
