BUCKINGHAM PALACE July 9th
The Baptism of the Infant Son of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took place at 4.00 pm this afternoon in the Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace.
The Archbishop of Canterbury, assisted by the Right Reverend and Rt Hon the Lord Chartres (Dean of Her Majesty’s Chapels Royal) and the Reverend Canon Paul Wright (Sub-dean of Her Majesty’s Chapels Royal) baptised the Infant Prince, who received the names Louis Arthur Charles.
The Godparents were: Mr Harry Aubrey-fletcher, Mrs Robert Carter, the Lady Laura Meade, Miss Lucy Middleton, Mr Guy Pelly and Mr Nicholas van Cutsem.
BUCKINGHAM PALACE July 9th
The Duke of York, Chancellor, this morning presented the Chancellor’s Prizes at the University of Huddersfield, Queensgate, Huddersfield, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of West Yorkshire (Dame Ingrid Roscoe).
His Royal Highness, Chancellor, later attended a Graduation Ceremony at the University of Huddersfield.
The Duke of York, Chancellor, this afternoon attended a Business Lunch at the University of Huddersfield.
His Royal Highness, Chancellor, afterwards presented Awards from the Chartered Management Institute at the University of Huddersfield.
The Duke of York, Founder, Pitch@palace, later presented The Duke of York Young Entrepreneur Awards at 3M Buckley Innovation Centre, Firth Street, Huddersfield.
His Royal Highness this evening attended a Financial Services Dinner at Bow Bells House, 1 Bread Street, London EC4.

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this morning visited Fairlawne Real Tennis Court, Fairlawne Estate, as part of His Royal Highness’s The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Real Tennis Tour and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Kent (Viscount De L’isle).

The Princess Royal, Patron, Sense, this afternoon opened Touchbase Pears, 750 Bristol Road, Selly Oak, Birmingham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of West Midlands (Mr John Crabtree).
Her Royal Highness, Perpetual Master, the Worshipful Company of Saddlers, later visited Fairfax Saddles, Fryers Road, Walsall, and was received by Professor Rashid Gatrad (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands), and afterwards visited Albion Saddlemakers, Albion House, Bridgeman Street, Walsall, and subsequently attended a Reception at Walsall College, Littleton Street West, Walsall.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Honorary President, today attended the Lawn Tennis Association President’s Lunch and afterwards attended the Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Wimbledon, London SW19.
ST JAMES’S PALACE July 9th
The Duke of Kent, President, All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, this afternoon attended the Wimbledon Championships, Church Lane, London SW19.
