“Football’s coming home” has been sung, shouted and tweeted across the nation and our politicians are now involved. The award for most exuberant rendition goes to Ed Miliband who, while dressed in full town-crier regalia, yelled down the microphone to BBC Radio 2 listeners: “Oyez, oyez. It’s coming home. England, Croatia, Wednesday, 7pm. Don your waistcoats and dare to dream. It’s coming home.”
