BUCKINGHAM PALACE July 10th

The Queen was present at a Service in Westminste­r Abbey this morning to celebrate the Centenary of the Royal Air Force and was received at the Great West Gate by the Dean (the Very Reverend Dr John Hall) and, at the Great West Door, by the Chapter, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Chaplain-in-chief, Royal Air Force (the Venerable Jonathan Chaffey) and the Chief of the Air Staff (Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Hillier).

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, The Duke of York, The Earl and Countess of Wessex, The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and Princess Alexandra, the Hon Lady Ogilvy were also present.

The Queen, accompanie­d by The Prince of Wales, later presented a New Queen’s Colour to the Royal Air Force in the Forecourt of Buckingham Palace and was received with a Royal Salute.

Her Majesty was graciously pleased to address the Parade and the Chief of the Air Staff replied.

The Queen, from the Balcony of Buckingham Palace, with other Members of the Royal Family, afterwards witnessed a fly-past and Feu de Joie.

Her Excellency the Rt Hon Dame Patricia Reddy (Governorge­neral of New Zealand) was later received by The Queen.

Sir David Gascoigne was also received by Her Majesty.

CLARENCE HOUSE July 10th

The Prince of Wales, Marshal of the Royal Air Force, on behalf of The Queen, and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon held a Reception at Buckingham Palace to mark the Centenary of the Royal Air Force.

The Prince of Wales, Founder, later attended an Accounting for Sustainabi­lity Finance Leaders’ Summit at St James’s Palace.

The Prince of Wales, accompanie­d by The Duchess of Cornwall, this evening held a Reception for European Leaders attending the Western Balkans Summit, St James’s Palace.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon received His Excellency Mr Sulaiman Hamid Almazroui (Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates) and the Minister of Culture and Knowledge Developmen­t for the United Arab Emirates (Her Excellency Ms Noura Al Kaabi).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, later held a Tenth Anniversar­y Reception for First Story at Clarence House.

The Duke of Cambridge this afternoon attended a Reception at Buckingham Palace to mark the Centenary of the Royal Air Force.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex this afternoon attended a Reception at Buckingham Palace to mark the Centenary of the Royal Air Force.

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards departed from Royal Air Force Northolt for Ireland and were received upon arrival in Dublin later by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Ireland (His Excellency Mr Robin Barnett).

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex called upon Mr Leo Varadkar (Taoiseach) at Government Buildings, Upper Merrion Street, Dublin.

Their Royal Highnesses later attended a Reception given by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Ireland at the Residence in Dublin.

Sir David Manning, Mr Edward Lane Fox, Mr Jason Knauf and Miss Amy Pickerill are in attendance.

Their Royal Highnesses, Founders, Wessex Youth Trust, later held a Meeting.

The Duke of Kent, Honorary Air Chief Marshal, this afternoon attended a Reception to mark the Centenary of the Royal Air Force at Horse Guards Parade.
