And lo, the surprisingly expansive world of financial domination – or findom – is a fascinating subject for a documentary. This programme explores the relationship between financial dominatrices (dommes) and their willing and usually wealthy “fiscal slaves”, who are seduced, humiliated and blackmailed into sending money and gifts. It asks whether the practice is just a fancy way of conning people.
