WORLD CUP DRAW

NO 30 MOSCOW

- TIM VYNER

Here is the drawing I did not want to make. The fans stayed behind in the stands after the game with the players and Gareth Southgate on the pitch.

They applauded, sang and showed their respect for each other. When was the last time an England manager and team were so loved? So this image of the coliseum-style Luzhniki Stadium will stay in my mind for a long time.

It has been a day to reflect on a wonderful World Cup for England, who won the hearts of everyone here by the way they grew into this tournament. I am still hurt by the result, but also proud to have been here to witness it.

This England football team have made me feel that anything is possible. Only football can do this.
