Johansson quits trans film role

Scarlett Johansson, the actress, has pulled out of the film Rub And Tug, in which she was to play a transgender character, citing “ethical questions” around her casting. Johansson, 33, was to play Dante “Tex” Gill, a massage parlour owner with ties to organised crime.
