Facebook defends Infowars stance

Facebook has defended its decision to allow a conspiracy theory website to remain on the social network, despite an ongoing row over its position on fake news. A spokesman said it would continue to publish “alt-right” figurehead Alex Jones’ conspiracy website Infowars on the platform as it did not violate its policies.
