Biker killed on funding ride for air ambulance

One motorcyclist was killed and two injured yesterday during a huge convoy and rally to raise funds for an air ambulance service. One of the riders had to be flown to hospital.

The collision occurred on the A386 near Hatherleigh, Devon, and involved three bikes. One Exeter-based rider said: “It’s sad that it’s happened during an event to raise funds for the Devon Air Ambulance.”
