Gang enforcer exhumed after grave robbed twice

-

The body of an enforcer for the notorious Adams crime family has been exhumed by police in Manchester after his grave was desecrated twice in a week.

Grave robbers are thought to have dug up the grave of Billy Isaac, a former boxer, in the hope of finding expensive jewellery rumoured to have been buried with his remains.

Mr Isaac, who died aged 45 in 2013, was an enforcer for a London-based gang linked to 25 murders over 30 years. Mr Isaac had reportedly organised the security at the East End funeral of Ronnie Kray, and in 1997 was cleared of carrying out the killing of a Manchester businesswoman.
