Domestic geography begins at the Wine Room

SIR – On the subject of names for rooms (Letters, July 18), our young children christened the living room the Wine Room.

SIR – When we moved into the Old Vicarage here in 1994, one of the bedrooms was still decorated in Action Man wallpaper from the Sixties. So it became known as the Action Man room. There is much amusement when guests are told where they are to sleep. Ian Case
