Shareholders at BTG stage coup

Heathcare company BTG saw significant numbers of shareholders reject both its pay report and the election of its non-executive chairman, Garry Watts, at 24.5pc and 22.9pc for the respective proposals. It came after BTG maintained its guidance for the full year, and said trading had continued in line with expectations since April 1.
