EU gridlock ‘M26 lorry park’
A 10-mile motorway could become a lorry park if Britain leaves the EU with no deal.
The M26 in Kent would be a “holding area” to ease gridlock around Dover as up to 10,000 lorries a day would require customs checks.
A spokesman for the Exiting the EU department said that it was confident of getting a deal ensuring a free flow of traffic.
