Experian merger ‘may limit market’

The competition watchdog has warned that a merger between Experian and rival credit data provider Clearscore could reduce competition in the market, and has given the companies until next Friday to offer remedies to alleviate those concerns. The £275m deal could face an in-depth investigation if the pair fail to present adequate solutions.
