Fans at San Diego’s Comiccon International were treated to a surprise appearance from Johnny Depp, who turned up dressed as Gellert Grindelwald, the dark wizard he plays in JK Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts films. Depp appeared on stage to deliver an antimuggle manifesto before departing quickly without speaking to his co-stars.
