Ken Currie is a painter known for his depictions of the human body. In this programme he accepts an invitation from Sue Black, Professor of Anatomy and Forensic Anthropology at the University of Dundee, to study the anatomy of the body in-depth. He goes to Brussels to view Jacques-louis David’s The Death of Marat, with its minutely observed physicality, and makes a visit to Dundee to see flesh and bone at Professor Black’s university department, the Centre for Anatomy and Human Identification.
