 Ken Currie is a painter known for his depictions of the human body. In this programme he accepts an invitation from Sue Black, Professor of Anatomy and Forensic Anthropolo­gy at the University of Dundee, to study the anatomy of the body in-depth. He goes to Brussels to view Jacques-louis David’s The Death of Marat, with its minutely observed physicalit­y, and makes a visit to Dundee to see flesh and bone at Professor Black’s university department, the Centre for Anatomy and Human Identifica­tion.
