Unite lifts payout as reach widens

Student accommodation provider Unite hiked its interim dividend by 30pc, after earnings jumped 31pc in the six months to June 30. Unite said it had expanded its portfolio to account for 52,000 beds for the next academic year, compared to 49,600 beds a year earlier, and increased exposure to high and mid-ranking universities.
